Customer Review: Great for first week ...

Well, I originally gave this machine 5 stars -- wonderful coffee for the first week, then "BOOM" the thermostat seems to have crapped out already. The brew temperature is now way too hot, burns the espresso. Yuck!To Francis' credit, they are sending me a repair authorization, with a box to ship it back to them for repair, no cost to me.
So, I'll wait to amend this again after I see how the repair goes, and how long it lasts before anything goes wrong again.
It made terrific coffee at first! *sniff* Now I'm gonna be drinking tea for a while. Rats!

Bright and boldly colored, this espresso machine from FrancisFrancis! is for those who relish sleek, modern design in their kitchen and a cheerful color scheme. Leave it out on the counter, as it's too heavy to move around much. This machine is designed for use with prepackaged coffee pods--specifically Easy Serving Espresso (ESE) pods--or with regular ground coffee; gear for both is included.The machine measures 10 by 12 inches overall; with its flip switches and pilot lights, the front looks like an instrument panel. A temperature gauge allows for more precise temperature control, which helps prevent the bitter brew that results from overheating. Other features include a pull-out drawer in the bottom section to house the drip grill, a removable plastic bin in the back for the water supply, a built-in cappuccino feature, and a circular wire holder on top for warming inverted coffee cups. --Marcie Bovetz
